Ever since I was a little girl, my grandparents have annually been traveling to Cyprus for 2 month long periods, to escape the dark and cold autumn, and the soggy melting spring snow in Norway. I was 12 years old the last time I visited them on their trip, but in the fall of 2019 I decided to travel to them again, to photograph what they are doing all the weeks in Cyprus alone.
